Hi, I’m Robayne and I live in the beautiful coastal community of Snells Beach in New Zealand. 

My two teenagers have inspired me to blog about the trials and errors of parenting. Parenting teens can be really tough and sometimes lonely. There isn’t the same kind of support networks available at this stage of our parenting journey. No kindy or coffee groups and most of us have returned to work and are probably entering into a world of hormonal changes, both our kids and ours! That is why I have created this space, to support each other, have a laugh and cheer each other on as we figure out how to raise our teenagers.

Here at Trial and Error, you will mostly find practical information and entertaining stories about parenting teens. I am by no means an expert, but I do have a penchant for researching, learning and sharing what I know so we can all become better parents.
